How long is KU fall break? ›

The first day off, we know you need it: Sept. 4th Labor day, yup University of Kansas is off that day.

The University of Kansas will remain open on Veterans Day and scheduled classes will be in session.

On October 10, 2023, Governor Laura Kelly announced Kansas will begin designating Juneteenth as a state holiday. Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, will be a paid day off for University employees for the first time.
